Insight about the ZIMM Health Clinic:
The opening of a new health clinic near my village is a major benefit to my community, to me, and to the surrounding communities. It means easier access to medical care, shorter travel times, faster treatment during illnesses or emergencies, and more opportunities for routine health checkups.
For many years, residents of our community have struggled with inadequate government-provided health care; this new clinic in Bomba is an answer to our prayers.
In addition, I have to travel to Ladyville or Belize City with my kids just to see the doctor, because this basic service is not available in the rural villages.

Having a clinic in my neighboring community is a large advantage because it makes Healthcare accessible, affordable, and faster for everyone.
Instead of traveling to the city for checkups, treatments, or emergency care, residents can get help right away. It also creates jobs and helps keep surrounding communities healthier through prevention programs and health education.
It's not just a building; it is peace of mind knowing medical help is close when you need it most.

The Bomba Village Health Clinic is more than a building; it is a promise that young people like me and others in rural Belize deserve access to quality healthcare, hope for the future, and the opportunity to thrive in their own communities.
Maskall is a place where neighbors know one another and are always willing to lend a helping hand. While life in a small village has many blessings, it also brings challenges, especially in accessing essential services such as healthcare. Many people delay seeking medical attention because of distance, cost, or inconvenience.
This is why the work of ZIMM, Inc., is so important. The Bomba Village Health Clinic will bring health care closer to Maskall Village, reducing a 40-60-mile drive to a 3-mile drive to Bomba Village. The construction of the Bomba Village Health Clinic is a blessing not only for Bomba but also for the surrounding villages of Lucky Strike, Maskall, Rock Stone Pond, Santana, and St. Anne’s. Having healthcare services closer to home will make a tremendous difference to the lives of many families.
