The true heartbeat of Zion International Mission is to transform the communities we visit by providing them with the opportunities they never imagined through the gift of an education, health care and clean water.
Through the efforts of Keith Pyron, a member of Zion International Missions Ministry, Inc.'s board of directors, ZIMM has been involved in ministry to Kenya for over seven years now. During this time, there have been remarkable changes that have occurred in the Royal Hope Education Center and Orphanage. In the early days of our involvement, there was only one school building made from mud and sticks, no water, and property that was leased. There was less than 200 orphans and students at this location. Since that time, two acres of land were purchased, seven school buildings have been built with classrooms and teacher offices, a water well installed, and two dormitories constructed.
Today, there are over 600 orphans and students that live or attend school at the facility.
This year, the Royal Hope Education Center and Orphanage has embarked on another building program. The Kenyan Health Department is now requiring Royal Hope to construct an indoor kitchen with a cafeteria for the children. Any financial contributions to this work will be greatly appreciated.
We are all blessed to see what God has done and continues to do in Kenya, Africa.
