We are building mission villas to host teams who come to serve in Belize. Construction of ZIMM’s first mission villa was completed in April 2011. Construction of additional villas is currently in progress. These villas will provide temporary housing for missionaries to worship, offer health services, and present workshops during their stay in rural Belize.

Existing House Structures

Houses are designed with common open-space interiors and typically do not have interior walls to separate rooms. The existing housing structures cover a wide range of construction designs and building materials. Very few families have managed to build homes with modern accommodations.

Sub-standard Houses Need Attention

In rural areas of Belize, housing structures are sub-standard and in need of attention. Many homes do not have electricity, indoor plumbing, or window screens to improve the quality of life.
